Many talk about mission-oriented innovation activities, but how should such activities be organized?
In the fifth webinar of the Pitelemättömät series, Associate Professor Matthijs Janssen from Utrecht University presents his research team’s findings from the article ‘Developing governance arrangements for transformative innovation policy: Insights from a comparative case study’.
The article compares seven innovation programs implemented across Europe and their execution. Particularly interesting insights relate to the roles, benefits, and challenges of different governance arrangements.
Matthijs Janssen is an innovation researcher and a tenured Associate Professor at the Copernicus Institute of Sustainable Development. Currently, he studies the governance and impacts of transformative innovation policies that target specific sectors, scientific disciplines, or societal challenges.
